Pininfarina took the wraps off its latest bespoke creation at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance this past weekend. Called the Hyperion, one of the Titans of Greek mythology, the car was created for collector Robert Hall by the coachbuilder's Special Projects Division. The Canary Yellow Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport from the Dubai Motor Show has turned up at the Qatar Motor Show. It obviously didn’t sell. Back in November, Bugatti took a trio of Veyron Grand Sport models to the Dubai Motor Show, all decked out with a host of options from Bugatti’s endless ‘extras’ list in the hope of making a dent in the still 100+ Grand Sports they have left to build.

Audi are on a mission to fill every niche that exists – and some that don’t – in order to reach their goal of selling 1.5 million cars a year by 2015. Set to go on sale in the UK and Europe (but not the US) after the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, the Audi A5 Sportback is said to offer the practicality of an estate with the elegance of a Coupe. And in many ways it does offer that.
